Set in Target Baseband Layer Signal Strength

Extract of Frame Display Detail BB layer

The Set in Target calculates the RSSI (Receiver Signal Strength Indicator) value, a representation of the radio signal strength at the Set in Target receiver, for every Bluetooth packet that it captures. RSSI is shown in dBm with a relative signal strength in parentheses. The RSSI value is shown as a decoded field in the Frame Display Detail pane Baseband layer .

The Set in Target firmware uses the built-in radio firmware features to calculate the RSSI value of the signal received at the antenna.
